NHS Student Drivers: If you wish to park on campus, you need to get a FREE parking sticker for your vehicle to display on the driver’s side of the front windshield. Remember, no students are allowed to park in the gym or front parking lots, as these are reserved for faculty only. Student parking is located in the back of the campus off of Georgia Ave. To receive your free parking sticker for your vehicle, just bring in your valid driver’s license and car registration. This week, they will be given only during lunch and after school at the bookkeeper’s window in the cafeteria foyer. After this week, you can get them at the front desk. Also, don’t forget there is no parking along the side streets along Nampa High during the school day due as per City of Nampa regulations.
School/ID badge pictures will take place this Thursday and Friday, August 22 & 23 during your English classes (except for 2A which will be rescheduled to a different period that day due to the assembly). Please be prepared and dress accordingly. Information and picture packets are available in the front office.
Students: Please make sure you have your address verification checked off in PowerSchool! If your parents did not download a copy of a current utility bill with the online registration process, please make sure you bring a current utility bill into the office to make sure that gets checked off. If you don’t have address verification, you will not be able to check out your laptop device next week.
Nampa High will be hosting an Open House & Bulldog Block Party on Tuesday, August 27th, from 5-7 pm. Mark your calendars, tell all your family, friends, and neighbors, and plan to come out for the fun now! There will be food trucks, a chance to introduce your parents to your teachers, and find out more about clubs and activities available at Nampa High.
This Saturday, Aug. 24, is the 4th Annual “Kick Off the School Year 2019” from 10am to 2pm at Griffiths Park in Caldwell sponsored by Canyon County Juvenile Probation. There will be a kickball tournament, vendors, games and give aways, including backpacks with school supplies, bicycles, and school shopping sprees.
