Girls Basketball is starting Oct. 30th.  Tryouts will begin that day at 3:00 p.m. SHARP!  Do not be late!  Open gym will start Tues., Oct. 24th at 3:00 p.m.  Before you try out you MUST have a physical.  You can stop by room #114 and pick up a packet from Coach Schutte, or our athletic director’s office upstairs in the gym.  

Attention all students:  Have you ever wanted to see the White House or the sights of New York City?  Now is your time to travel to the Nation’s Capital and NYC in June of 2019.  Please see Mrs. Linzy or Mrs. Dodge in Rooms 108 or 678 if you are interested before or after school or during lunch to get on the email list.  Mark your calendars for Tues., October 24th, at 7:15 pm in the cafeteria for the informational meeting.  If you sign up this month of October, you will receive a $100 discount on the trip.

The College and Career Center will be hosting yet another College and Coffee Event on Saturday, October 28th from 10 am to 12pm. They will be there to help parents with questions about going to college as well as filling out FAFSA’s.

Emily Shamim from College of Western Idaho will be here on Thursday, Oct. 26th, during 4th period to help answer questions regarding earning your GEM certificate and/or Associate's degree while in high school. If you're a dual credit student looking at this option and wondering if it's possible for you, come to the College & Career Center to sign up so that you're called in during this time.

Did your family get their fall pumpkins yet?  You still have one more chance this Saturday to purchase from Project Graduation!  We will be selling pumpkins again this Saturday, October 21st from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm in the NHS 12th Avenue Parking Lot.  Please spread the word and get all your family & friends to purchase their fall pumpkin decorating needs from Project Graduation and help support their biggest fundraiser of the year!  Pumpkins will be priced by size – either $2/ $4/ or $6.  There will also be goodies for sale!  See you this Saturday in the parking lot!

Whitworth University will be in the College and Career Center on Tuesday, October 24, at noon! If you are interested in going to college in Washington, come see Mrs. Johnson or Mr. Alcantara to sign up.

Ladies and gentlemen!  Premiering this week is Nampa High School's production of "Blithe Spirit", an improbable farce by Noel Coward. Performances are October 19th, 20th, and 21st. Tickets are $5, $4 with an ASB card. Show starts at 7, doors open at 6:30. Bring a friend and come enjoy the show.

Come meet the RADD Program! We are selling Apple Cider, Hot Chocolate, Coffee & Popcorn during lunch.  You can stop by room #270 or #246 during passing periods.

Need a quiet place to get caught up on homework? Want a free bowl of soup? Come to Food for Thought in room 672 and 656 every Thursday starting today. All students are welcome, but we only have 20 seats per room, so get here early! As long as you are working the entire time, you are welcome to hang out and eat.
